Fees & Policies | Psychological Services in Vancouver

My fees for each hour of Psychological Service are currently $245 as recommended by the British Columbia Psychological Association.

I work on the “50-minute hour,” meaning that I meet with clients for 50 minutes and 10 minutes are reserved for preparation and session note-taking.

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. I charge full fees for cancellations or appointments missed with less than 24 hours notice, and I charge 50% fees for cancellations with 48-25 hours notice.

I accept cheques, cash or e-transfer (by prior arrangement), but not visa or debit.

Insurance and Tax Information for BC Psychological Services

• tax exempt.
• not covered by MSP.
• deductible as a medical expense for income tax.

Extended Health Benefit Plans generally provide some reimbursement for fees paid for Psychological Services. Check with your provider as plans vary on their coverage.

Please Note: Due to workload I have decided to no longer see clients through ICBC, WorkSafeBC, RCMP, First Nations Health Authority, or Crime Victims Assistance Program or any insurance company, or for any legal matters.

I will not be writing reports or letters.
